Tiffen 82mm UV Filter

Tiffen's UV Protector is the filter that spends its life on the front of a working lens. It stands between the front element and dust, moisture, fingerprints, scratches and the occasional hard knock, and it does so without a visual cost: it absorbs ultraviolet light and reduces the bluish cast of daylight while adding no color and no contrast of its own. That is what makes it a general protective filter rather than a look - you can leave it on the lens all the time and still stack a polarizer or an ND above it.

It is built on Tiffen's ColorCore glass, a process that laminates the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass, grinds it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounts it in a precision ring - so protecting the glass does not cost you resolution. This is the 82mm size, which threads onto the M82 x 0.75 front of the Fujinon XT17sx4.5BRM 17x ENG lens and any other lens with an 82mm front. Made in the U.S.A.
