Sony URX-S03D Two-Channel Slot-In Receiver (UC90, 941-960 MHz)
The URX-S03D is the UWP-D Series' first two-channel portable receiver that drops straight into the slot of Sony XDCAM and HDCAM camcorders, here tuned to the UC90 band above the crowded UHF-TV spectrum. It puts two wireless channels inside the camera body with no external receiver hanging off the rig, and true diversity reception draws on two adjustable antennas, each with its own RF circuit, so the stronger signal is always in play and dropouts stay rare even as talent moves.
Sony's Digital Audio Processing layers onto the analog link to tighten transient response for clear, natural voice, and the receiver pairs cleanly with UWP-D transmitters while staying backward compatible with Sony 800 and UWP Series transmitters. A waterproof structure lets it keep working in rain, spray, and other punishing conditions where a standard receiver would be at risk.
