Sennheiser EW-DX TSTable Stand Transmitters

The EW-DX TS is a table stand that is also an Evolution Wireless Digital transmitter. A gooseneck screws into the XLR socket on top, and the base sends that microphone to an EW-DX receiver with no cable leaving the table. In a council chamber, a boardroom, or a panel set that means no floor boxes, no gaffer tape, and no reconfiguring the room because the seating changed. The housing is metal and heavy enough to stay where a talker puts it, at roughly 650 g before the battery goes in, and a programmable mute switch on the base gives the participant a control they can find without looking.

It comes in two socket versions, and they are different SKUs: the 3-pin model takes Sennheiser goosenecks without an LED ring, and the 5-pin model uses a 5-pin XLR socket. Match the version to the gooseneck you are putting on it. The gooseneck microphone is not included. Each unit ships with the BA 40 rechargeable battery, good for about 10 hours, and it runs at 10 mW ERP over a 200 kHz channel. The RF band is also a separate SKU with its own legal operating range: Q1-9 (470.200-550.000 MHz), R1-9 (520.000-607.800 MHz), and V5-7 (941.700-951.800, 953.050-956.050 and 956.650-959.650 MHz).
