Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 DanteWireless Rack Receiver
The EW-DX EM 2 Dante is a two-channel digital receiver at the heart of a Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital rig, packed into a half-rack 9.5-inch chassis. It pairs with EW-DX handheld, bodypack, and tablestand transmitters and delivers their audio with 1.9 ms latency through Sennheiser's SePAC codec, tight enough for live monitoring and in-ear use.
Audio leaves the receiver over a Dante network alongside its analog outputs, and the unit is fully network-enabled for control through Sennheiser Control Cockpit and Wireless Systems Manager over IPv4 or IPv6 Ethernet. An 88 MHz switching bandwidth opens up to 293 channels for large multichannel systems. It ships with an external 12 V/1 A power supply and a GA 3 rackmount set, and is offered in Q1-9 (470.2-550 MHz), R1-9 (520-607.8 MHz), and V5-7 ranges.
