Its HF2 one-inch capsule with gold-plated diaphragm delivers the warm, authoritative voice sound broadcasters expect, and the tight cardioid pattern keeps room reflections and off-axis noise out of the signal. A switchable voice-tailored low-cut filter tames proximity boom when the talent works in close.

An internal pop shield and the mic's own capsule shock mounting reduce plosives and stand-borne rumble, and a bright on-air indicator ring shows when the channel is live.
