RDL D-RLC10
The RDL D-RLC10 is a rotary remote level control that puts user volume adjustment on the wall of any room, connecting directly to RDL VCA products and OEM equipment that accept a 0 to 10 Vdc ramp input. It uses an optical encoder rather than a conventional potentiometer, so the knob spins continuously at a comfortable adjustment rate and stays noise-free over years of use. In master mode it outputs the 0 to 10 Vdc ramp; in slave mode it follows one, and open-collector UP and DOWN pulse outputs drive compatible gear.
As many as nine additional -RLC10 controls wire in parallel with the master over ordinary CAT5 or CAT6 cable, giving several rooms or entrances control of the same level. The control draws 24 Vdc at 50 mA and mounts in a standard US electrical box or an RDL WB- or SMB- series box, with the cover plate ordered separately.
