RCF HDL 38-AS Active Flyable Subwoofer Module
The HDL 38-AS is the 18-inch flyable subwoofer for HDL 30-A systems, and it is the one you specify when the program needs real bottom rather than just weight. One 18-inch neodymium woofer on a 4-inch voice coil and a 3200 W Class-D amplifier produce 136 dB from 30 Hz to 140 Hz, which puts kick and synth fundamentals in the room instead of on the floor.
The Baltic birch cabinet weighs 107.36 lbs and flies on HDL rigging, so flown bass arrays are a normal configuration rather than a special case. RDNet over Ethercon handles level, delay, polarity, and cardioid setup alongside the tops, and Powercon in and out keeps mains distribution tidy. Available in black or white.
