RCF HDL 50-A 4K Active Three-Way Line Array Module

The HDL 50-A 4K is RCF's large-format touring module, a genuine three-way design with eight transducers per box. Two 12-inch neodymium woofers, four midrange drivers, and two 1.4-inch exit compression drivers on 3-inch voice coils are each fed by their own channel of an 8000 W peak, 4000 W RMS four-channel Class-D amplifier. The result is 143 dB at one meter across 40 Hz to 20 kHz, with crossover points at 200 Hz and 800 Hz.

The proprietary 90 by 10 degree 4PATH waveguide and the symmetrical cabinet layout hold the pattern constant across the full hang, which is what makes long throws in arenas and festival fields predictable. The Baltic birch cabinet weighs 128.75 lbs, flies on RCF's reconfigurable HDL rigging, and reports to RDNet over Ethercon for per-module DSP, monitoring, and array-wide EQ. Design and verify the hang in RDShape before it leaves the shop.
