Panasonic HC-X1600 4K Camcorder with 24x Zoom
The HC-X1600 uses the same 1/2.5-inch MOS sensor and 24x powered zoom as the HC-X2100, 8.57 million total pixels and 8.29 million effective in video, with an F1.8 to F4.0 lens covering f=4.12mm to 98.9mm. It leaves out the SDI board and the handle unit, so the camera stays a 0.85kg body, approximately 1.2kg with hood, battery and eyecup.
Recording is MOV and MP4 in H.264 or HEVC plus AVCHD to SDHC and SDXC cards up to 512GB. Audio is LPCM 48 kHz 24-bit in MOV. The HDMI Type A output runs 4:2:2 10-bit to 3840 x 2160/59.94p with timecode and remote record control. A 3.5-inch 2.76 million dot touch LCD and a 0.39-inch OLED viewfinder handle framing, and the camera runs on 7.28V battery or 9.0V DC IN.
