Midas AS88

The AS88 sits between a Midas console's HyperMAC backbone and its AES50 stage boxes, converting two high-bitrate HyperMAC connections into eight fully redundant AES50 SuperMAC connections and back again. It is the box that lets one console feed a stage split across several I/O positions.\n\nCapacity is up to 192 bidirectional channels at 96 kHz. Dual redundant auto-ranging switch-mode power supplies mean a failed feed or a failed supply does not take the audio with it, and the chassis is built compact enough to live in the same rack as the I/O it serves.
