Midas AS80
The AS80 converts one high-bitrate HyperMAC connection into two redundant 1 GBit HMAC connections and back the other way. Where the AS88 fans out to AES50, the AS80 keeps the signal on HyperMAC and buys you a redundant path between two points.\n\nIt passes up to 192 bidirectional channels at 96 kHz. Power comes from dual redundant auto-ranging universal switch-mode supplies, and the enclosure is compact and rugged enough for a touring rack.
