Martin Audio Blackline Q10 10" Passive Loudspeaker

Blackline Q10 is the compact passive box in Martin Audio's Q series, a 10" ferrite LF driver with a 1" exit polyimide dome compression driver on a user-rotatable Differential Dispersion horn. That horn is the reason to pick it over a plain two-way: coverage widens from 90 to 110 degrees horizontally with distance, so the people near the box and the people at the back of the room hear a similar balance rather than a hot spot down the centre.

It is an 8 ohm cabinet rated 250W AES and 1000W peak, producing 119dB continuous and 125dB peak, and it needs an external processor and amplifier, either a DX0.4, DX0.6 or DX4.0 with a VIA amplifier, or an iKON amplifier-processor. The plywood enclosure uses a symmetrical multi-angle shape with a black textured finish, fifteen M8 inserts plus six more for a wall bracket, a bar handle in a recycled ABS pocket and a pole-mount socket with a removable cover.
