Juice Goose JG 9 Rack Power Distribution

The JG 9 is the baseline Juice Goose rack power module - part of LynTec's Juice Goose line - and the one most racks end up with. Eight outlets sit on the rear of the chassis, rotated 90 degrees so a row of wall-wart supplies fits without blocking its neighbours, and a ninth unswitched receptacle on the front panel keeps a laptop supply or a network switch live when the rack is switched off.

A lighted master power switch and a thermal 15 amp current-overload device sit on the front. Conditioning is the JG series basic package: a fast-acting metal oxide varistor clamps line-to-neutral voltage spikes, and a capacitor reduces AC line interference passed between line and neutral. The chassis is black steel, a full 7 inches deep, and takes one rack space in a 19-inch rack.
