LynTec SQ-1500 Power Sequencer

The SQ-1500 brings orderly, staged power-up to a single AV or audio rack without requiring a networked control system - it's a self-contained 1U unit that sequences three delayed output groups (two outlets per step) so amplifiers, DSPs, and source gear come up in the right order instead of all hitting inrush current at once. That staged startup protects speakers from turn-on thump and reduces the mechanical and electrical stress of a simultaneous cold start across a rack.

Seven NEMA 5-15R outlets cover the rack - six sequenced across the three steps plus one unswitched outlet for anything that needs to stay powered continuously (a network switch or a clock, for example). It's triggered either from the front-panel switch for manual on/off or via a latching-relay contact closure for integration with a room's automation or wall switch, and built-in surge protection plus AC line noise filtration protect the connected gear from the mains side.
