Juice Goose JG 11-15A Rack Power Distribution

The JG 11-15A is Juice Goose's high-count 15 amp rack power module - part of LynTec's Juice Goose line - and the reason to choose it over a generic strip is outlet count and cord length. Eleven NEMA 5-15R receptacles (ten on the rear, one on the front) fit a full rack of gear, one rear and one front receptacle stay unswitched for anything that must remain live, and the receptacles are oriented ground-down to clear wall-wart supplies.

The 15-foot power cord is the practical detail installers care about: a rack in the middle of a room reaches a wall outlet without an extension. A front-mounted circuit breaker handles overload, and the JG series conditioning inside is deliberately basic but effective - a fast-acting metal oxide varistor clamps line-to-neutral voltage spikes and a capacitor knocks down AC line interference between line and neutral. It occupies one rack space in a 19-inch rack.
