Lowell R1810-72 8 in Speaker/Grille Assembly

The Lowell R1810-72 is a complete in-ceiling speaker assembly for background music and paging: the 810 dual-cone 8" driver, a TLM-572 25V/70V transformer and the WB-8 grille, shipped as one part number so a contractor is not sourcing three items and hoping they fit each other.

The driver is rated 15 W RMS on a 10 oz ceramic magnet, with a moulded high-fibre cone giving 54 Hz to 11.6 kHz (+/-6 dB) and 97.9 dB average sensitivity at 1 W/1 m. The transformer taps at 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 W, which is the useful spread for a ceiling run where every zone wants a different level. The 12.875" round steel grille screw-mounts in a white powder coat. Order the enclosure separately - the UL listing applies when it is used with an approved one.
