Kinefinity PL Mounting Adapter II

The PL Mounting Adapter II puts PL cine glass on the KineMOUNT system used across the MAVO Edge, MAVO mark2, MAVO, TERRA, and VISTA lines. Electronic contacts read the Cooke i/ protocol, so lenses that support it report their metadata to the camera automatically. The adapter weighs 180g and makes a simple, reliable connection with no external cables, though Kinefinity recommends powering the camera down before swapping adapters to protect the contacts.

This is the second-generation design, refined over the original PL adapter for a more secure mechanical fit. An e-ND version is also offered, building an electronically controlled neutral density filter into the adapter so exposure can be pulled down without stacking screw-in filters in front of the lens.
