JVC VR-D1008-1TB Recorder

The VR-D1008-1TB is an 8-channel digital video recorder for analog surveillance systems, with a 1-terabyte hard disk drive built in. It uses H.264 compression to hold down storage and bandwidth, and supports WD1, 4CIF, 2CIF, CIF and QCIF encoding to work with high-resolution analog cameras. Each channel records dual-stream at up to 30 frames per second, with independent resolution, frame rate, bit rate and image quality per channel.

Monitoring is flexible: simultaneous HDMI, VGA and CVBS outputs feed different displays at once, with HDMI and VGA reaching up to 1920 by 1080p, and live view can be split 1, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 ways with an adjustable screen sequence. The recorder is driven by mouse or IR remote and runs on 12V DC for fixed or mobile installs. This is a demo unit backed by a JVC 1-year warranty.
