JVC BR-EN900 Encoder/BR-DE900 Decoder Package

This package pairs the ProHD BR-EN900 hardware encoder with the BR-DE900 hardware decoder to form a complete point-to-point contribution link. The BR-EN900 compresses live 1080p to HEVC or H.264 in real time, up to 10-bit 4:2:2, cutting contribution bandwidth by as much as 50 percent, while the BR-DE900 decodes the stream back to baseband with dual 3G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and composite outputs. Together they carry broadcast-quality video over satellite, cellular and IP networks between a remote site and the studio.

Both units are offered as JVC B-stock with a 30-day warranty, fully functional hardware sold below new pricing. Zixi transport on the encoder keeps the feed resilient across LAN, WAN, xDSL and 3G/4G/LTE links, and the decoder's simultaneous outputs let one received stream feed several destinations at once.
