JBL Control 85M Two-Way 5.25 inch (135mm) Coaxial Mushroom Landscape Speaker

The Control 85M is a two-way 5.25 inch (135mm) coaxial mushroom landscape speaker, from the Control Contractor installed range. Nominal coverage is 360 degrees H, 160 degrees V (primary listening 10 degrees to 50 degrees up from ground). Frequency range is 55 Hz - 18 kHz. JBL rates it at 160 W Continuous Program (2 hrs) 80 W (320W peak), Continuous Pink Noise (2 hrs) 45 W (180W peak) Continuous Pink Noise (100 hrs). Maximum SPL at 1 m is 105 dB. Nominal impedance is 8 (at 8 setting).

The enclosure is LDPE Polyethylene plastic, 6 mm wall thickness, UL94V-0 rated. The grille is Powder coated stainless steel. Transformer taps are 70V: 30W, 15W, 7.5W & 3.8W 100V: 30W, 15W, 7.5W. Connections are Bare wire with dielectric-gel-filled wire nuts (internal to top speaker section). It measures 432 x 291 x 291mm (17 x 11.5 x 11.5 in.). Net weight is 5.5 kg (12 lb).
