Hiwatt Studio/Stage Head

The Studio/Stage head is the SS20/40 without a cabinet: a quartet of EL84s making 40 watts in Stage mode and just over 20 in Studio mode through smart power scaling, aimed at session players who want range without a page of options.

High and low impedance inputs set the gain response, with low suiting high-output pickups or anyone wanting less preamp compression. A Bright switch works across both inputs and the Boost, on a push-pull gain pot, is footswitchable. The spring reverb tank has its own Dwell and Level controls, and the rear panel selects 4, 8 or 16 ohms.
