Hiwatt SUPER-HI 33 Head

The Super-Hi 33 puts a cascaded gain preamp in front of the clean, responsive Hiwatt power section, and uses 6V6s so the bass response of a larger amp arrives at a volume that does not clear the room.

Two gain channels with independent masters, plus a Super-Hi boost on each, give four levels of gain and volume. A Depth control tunes the bass response, and a clean post-preamp effects loop keeps modulation and delay out of all that preamp distortion. Oversized transformers extend the low end and the output before it saturates.
