Hiwatt Leeds 25R Head

A lightweight head with a solid-state preamp voiced to compress and break up the way a valve amp does, and a spring tank for real reverb. The Leeds 25R head drives 4 to 8 ohm cabinets at gig volume from a box that weighs almost nothing.

The Contour control comes from the larger Super Leeds and reshapes the overdrive channel between vintage and modern flavours; LED clipping keeps the gain smooth rather than fizzy. Clean and overdrive channels have independent volumes and share a three-band EQ, and there is a 3.5mm aux in and headphone out for practice.
