Gator G-TOUR 2U Rack Case
The Gator G-TOUR 2U is an ATA-style wood flight case that moves two rack spaces of gear - a wireless receiver pair, a comp and an EQ, a small interface - through load-in, load-out, and the back of a truck. The shell is 9mm plywood with a laminated exterior, closed by a tongue-and-groove extruded aluminum valance so the lid seats tight and keeps road grit out of the rack.
Inside, 3.2mm steel rails run front and rear with 17 inches of usable rack depth, so a deeper chassis still bolts up at both ends instead of hanging off the front rails alone. Red recessed twist latches sit flush with the shell to survive stacking, and spring-loaded rubber-gripped handles plus reinforced ball corners take the day-to-day abuse of touring and install work. The rack opening is 3.50 inches tall on a 19-inch width; the case measures 25.75 x 21.50 x 6.00 inches outside and weighs 24.00 pounds empty.
