Gator G-TOUR 8U Rack Case
The Gator G-TOUR 8U is an ATA-style wood flight case built for eight rack spaces of amplifiers, processing, and stage I/O - the depth where a rack stops being light and starts needing real hardware. The 9mm plywood shell with laminated exterior, the tongue-and-groove extruded aluminum valance, and the reinforced ball corners are all sized for that load.
Steel rails 3.2mm thick run front and rear with 17 inches of usable rack depth, so amps and deeper chassis carry their weight on both ends of the rack rather than tearing at the front rails. Red recessed twist latches sit flush for stacking, and spring-loaded rubber-gripped handles give you something solid to grab on a crowded stage. The rack opening is 14.00 inches tall on a 19-inch width; the case measures 25.75 x 21.50 x 16.50 inches outside and weighs 37.49 pounds empty.
