Electro-Voice EKX-12P 12-Inch Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker

The EKX-12P is the powered version of the 12-inch EKX cabinet. A 1500 W Class D amplifier drives the EVS-12M woofer and DH-1M titanium compression driver, and QuickSmartDSP handles the crossover, limiting and voicing behind a single knob and an LCD on the back panel. Setup is a matter of picking a preset rather than carrying a rack.

Inputs are two XLR/TRS combo jacks plus a stereo RCA pair, with an XLR link output for the next box down the line. Frequency response reaches 60 Hz at -3 dB, so it holds up on speech and light music without a sub. The plywood enclosure carries eight M10 fly points and an aluminium pole socket, same as the passive model.
