Deity BP260 Carbon Fiber Boom Pole

Formerly sold as the Deity Boom Pole 8.5 ft, the BP260 extends across five carbon fiber sections to 8.5 feet and collapses to 27.5 inches, which is short enough for a medium suitcase and avoids the oversize baggage fee that a full-length pole attracts. It weighs 540 g and supports up to 1.6 kg at the tip.

CNC aluminium collars lock each section, and a removable foam grip keeps handling noise out of the capsule for operators who want it. The tip is a 3/8 in male thread with a 3/8 in female mount in the end cap, so standard shock mounts and cable management fit without adapters. A 74.5 cm carrying case is included.
