Deity BP380 Carbon Fiber Boom Pole

The BP380 packs down to 3 feet and extends across 5 carbon fiber sections to 12.5 feet, a size better matched to interview setups and interior scenes than the longer BP500, and at 1.5 lb it is lighter still for a boom op holding position through a long dialogue scene. Aluminum collars and a CNC aluminum locking mechanism keep each section secure at any length.

A removable foam handle reduces handling noise reaching the mic, and the standard 3/8-16 threaded tip fits any shock mount built to that spec. A semi-rigid carrying case ships with it, useful for a pole that travels between locations in a car trunk or a gear cart rather than staying rigged on one stage.
