Countryman E6 Windscreen

The E6 puts a 2.5 mm capsule at the corner of the mouth, closer to a talker than almost any other microphone in a live rig. The windscreen is what keeps plosives and moving air off it without adding the bulk that would undo the reason the E6 was chosen.

Four finishes match the boom colours. On a shared or rental earset treat the windscreen as consumable: it is the part that absorbs makeup and moisture, and swapping it is faster and cheaper than cleaning the capsule.
