Countryman H6 Protective Cap
The H6 is the lowest profile headset Countryman builds and its cap does the same double duty as the earset caps: it seals the capsule against sweat, which a headset gets a great deal of, and it sets the response the microphone presents.
Three omnidirectional responses cover the range from a natural close voice to an +8 dB lift that pulls intelligibility back in a loud house. The directional H6 takes either the cardioid or the hypercardioid cap, which is how one boom covers both patterns. Four finishes match the headframe colours.
