Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 2D Continuous-Output Water-Based Hazer
The Hurricane Haze 2D solves the problem most small hazers have: once it is warm, it stays warm and emits continuously rather than cycling on and off and leaving gaps in the beam field. Warm-up is about five minutes, after which haze volume and blower speed are both adjustable straight from the digital display - no console needed - and the output angle is user-adjustable so you can aim the plume across a stage instead of into a wall.
Under DMX it takes two channels over 3-pin XLR, giving separate control of density and fan. The 0.7-gallon tank runs 8.2 ml per minute with a low-fluid indicator that shuts the machine down when it empties, and a 15-foot wired timer remote with an onboard storage compartment ships in the box. It draws 533W at 4.4A on 120V and weighs 18.7 lb in an 11.2 x 10.5 x 13.7 inch case.
