Chauvet DJ Intimidator Spot 110
The Intimidator Spot 110 is the entry point to Chauvet DJ's moving-head line and it keeps the feature that matters most: separate color and gobo wheels. Seven colors plus white and seven gobos plus open can be combined in any pairing, which is what lets a small rig look programmed rather than preset. The 10W cool white LED reads 1,561 lux at 2 meters through a 13-degree beam, and the head pans 540 degrees with 180 degrees of tilt.
At 5.0 lb and 7.5 x 5 x 11 inches it is genuinely portable - a pair fits in a gear bag with the rest of a mobile kit, and Chauvet sizes the CHS-40 to suit. Sound-activated programs and master/slave linking run a show with no console, and the optional IRC-6 handheld adds wireless non-DMX control. Under DMX it takes 6 or 12 channels over 3-pin XLR and draws only 41W at 120V.
