Chauvet DJ Intimidator Scan 110 4.6-Pound LED Scanner
Mirror scanners move faster than moving heads because only the mirror travels, and the Intimidator Scan 110 is the smallest, cheapest way to get that snap into a mobile rig. A 10W cool white LED throws a 13-degree beam at 1,110 lux measured at 2 meters through eight combined color/gobo patterns plus open, and the mirror covers 180 degrees of pan and 45 of tilt.
Built-in movement macros and a move-in-black feature cut programming time - the fixture repositions with the light shuttered so the audience only sees the finished move. Sound-activated programs and master/slave linking cover shows with no console at all, and the optional IRC-6 handheld gives wireless non-DMX control. Under DMX it takes 5 or 11 channels over 3-pin XLR. At 30W it power-links seventeen units on a single 120V circuit, and at 4.6 lb and 7.5 x 4.7 x 10.6 inches a bag of them travels easily; Chauvet sizes the CHS-40 gear bag to fit.
