Chauvet DJ Hurricane 1200 Fog Machine

The Hurricane 1200 sits above the 1000 in Chauvet DJ's fog line, trading a little portability for more output: 18,000 cfm from a 1,180W heater, still heat-ready in about two minutes. Always Ready technology keeps fog available on demand rather than making the room wait through a reheat cycle, and the included timer remote gives variable output control from front of house or from the DJ booth.

Output is residue-free and water-based, so it will not leave a film on lighting fixtures or dance floors. The 0.26-gallon tank holds enough fluid for extended runtime at 28 ml per minute, and at 6.4 lb the unit is still light enough for a single tech to carry and mount. It draws 1,180W at 10A on a standard 120V circuit.
