The E100VP is a fifth-generation, USA-manufactured member of CAD's Equitek line, built around a gold-plated 1-inch capsule with a continuously variable polar pattern spanning omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid, subcardioid and figure-8. That range makes it a genuine do-everything studio mic, equally at home on a lead vocal, an acoustic guitar or a room capture.
