Black Lion Audio Revolution 2x2 USB Recording Interface
The Revolution 2x2 is Black Lion's portable USB interface, built by a company that spent years modifying other manufacturers' converters before making its own. The mic input runs a 3 kOhm load with 55 dB of gain, 0.00098% THD+N, and 116 dB of dynamic range, and the response holds 20 Hz to 20 kHz within a quarter of a decibel.
Each channel also takes line level (14 kOhm, 20 dBu maximum in, 126 dB dynamic range) or instrument level on a 1 MOhm Hi-Z input, so a guitar, a synth, and a microphone all have a proper front end. Line outputs are 95 ohms at 12 dBu maximum, and the headphone output drives 2.5 ohms at 9.3 dBu. A version bundled with iZotope software is also stocked.
