BSS BLU-BOB1 Soundweb London 8-Channel Analog Output Expander, Half Rack
The BLU-BOB1 pulls eight line-level analog outputs off the Soundweb London digital audio bus. Like its input counterpart it is configured entirely by six rear DIP switches selecting a consecutive block of eight channels out of the 256 on the bus, so it needs no time in HiQnet Audio Architect and no processor I/O card.
Front panel LEDs show signal present per channel and power status. This is the half-rack version, intended for desk, wall or under-table mounting where a rack is not available; the BLU-BOB2 is the same electronics in a 19 in 1RU chassis. It runs on the included 12 V DC adapter, and the MC-1 fiber media converter extends the bus past 10 km on single-mode fiber when the outputs need to land in another building.
