The Light Dome 90 is a big soft source, and big soft sources are the hardest to keep off the background. This grid restores directionality: the light stays soft on the face and stops climbing the wall behind it.

It is amaran's own part for the 90, cut to that diameter so it seats flat against the diffusion instead of bowing and leaking at the rim.
