A grid narrows a beam evenly. Barn doors do something a grid cannot: take light off one side only, which is what you want when the wall is close on the left and fine on the right.

These four leaves mount on the Pano 60c's face and hinge independently, so each edge of the beam gets cut where it needs cutting. They are the modifier for working in real rooms rather than studios.
