amaran Mini Reflector for Ray 60c and Ray 120c

The Mini Reflector clamps onto the front of an amaran Ray 60c or Ray 120c and narrows the beam to 25 degrees. That is the difference between a fixture that fills a room and one that puts a defined pool of light exactly where you point it, which is what you want for a backlight, a hair light, or any accent that has to read against an already lit background.

It weighs 130g and measures 14.5 x 14.5 x 15.8cm, so it adds almost nothing to a light you are already flying on a stand or a boom. Behind it the numbers hold up: on a Ray 120c at 5,600K it puts 34,000 lux on a subject at 1m and still 3,778 lux at 3m, and on the smaller Ray 60c the same distances read 18,830 lux and 2,092 lux.
