AJA ColorBox ORION-CONVERT Pipeline License

ORION-CONVERT is Cromorama's color science, the same work behind the NBCU LUT based HDR-SDR broadcast workflows, and this license runs it as a real-time pipeline inside ColorBox. Instead of a fixed 3D LUT it computes the SDR, HLG and PQ transforms in floating point, which avoids the rounding errors a LUT can introduce and makes pixel-accurate round-tripping straightforward to set up.

The controls are the ones a broadcaster needs to shape a single-master HDR workflow: configurable SDR and HDR reference anchor points, a two-stage knee for compression or expansion before and after the conversion, separate compression and expansion amounts for HDR-to-SDR and SDR-to-HDR, an HDR peak-nit setting for display-light system gamma, gamma compensation, clamping options and a full bypass node on 12G-SDI and HDMI. Set-ups can be saved and replicated across units with ColorBox preset import and export.
