Allen & Heath ZEDi-10
The ZEDi-10 is a hybrid mixer and audio interface that pairs Allen & Heath's GSPre boutique preamps, developed from the GS-R24 studio console, with a 4-in/4-out USB connection. Four mono mic/line channels with switchable 48V phantom power and 3-band MusEQ handle vocals and instruments, while two stereo channels bring in keyboards and media. The GSPre preamps deliver low noise and generous headroom with the analog warmth the Allen & Heath range is known for.
The 24-bit/96 kHz USB interface records four channels to a computer at once and returns four, so you can track a small band or stream with separate feeds and monitor with near-zero latency. FX, aux, and monitor sends plus a dedicated headphone output route signals where they need to go, and balanced XLR main outputs feed the PA or your monitors. It works equally well as a desktop recording front end or a compact live desk.
