Allen & Heath AVANTIS
Avantis is Allen & Heath's compact digital mixing console built around the XCVI FPGA core, the same 96kHz engine family that powers the flagship dLive. That core delivers 64 input channels and a 42 configurable bus architecture at a class-leading 0.7ms latency, with a full processing suite of PEQ, dynamics, and 12 RackExtra FX slots on every show. Twin 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreens put the whole surface in view at once, so an engineer can mix a band from one screen while riding effects or monitors on the other.
The control surface carries 24 faders across 6 layers and 24 assignable SoftKeys for fast recall of scenes, mutes, and workflows. The rear panel provides 12 analog XLR mic/line inputs and 12 analog XLR outputs alongside stereo AES digital I/O, and two option-card I/O ports open the console up to Dante, Waves, gigaACE, SuperMADI, and fibreACE networking. The optional dPack upgrade expands the platform from 64 to 96 input channels and from 42 to 56 mixes for larger productions.
