Allen & Heath ZEDi-10FX
The ZEDi-10FX takes the ZEDi-10 hybrid mixer and adds an onboard effects engine, so studio-quality reverbs and delays are built into the desk. Four mono mic/line channels run the GSPre boutique preamps derived from the GS-R24 console, carry switchable 48V phantom power, and pass through 3-band MusEQ; two stereo channels handle keyboards and media. The internal effects include special multi-model programs that layer reverbs and delays into dynamic combinations.
A 4-in/4-out USB interface records four channels to a computer at 24-bit/96 kHz and returns four for monitoring or playback, making it a capable front end for tracking a band or streaming. FX, aux, and monitor sends plus a headphone output manage routing, and balanced XLR main outputs feed the house system. It is the same compact hybrid desk as the ZEDi-10 with effects added for players who want processing without a laptop.
