Yamaha VXC Series Ceiling Speaker

The Yamaha VXC series is a line of ceiling speakers built for background music and paging in offices, retail, and hospitality installs. The F-model trio (VXC2F, VXC3F, VXC5F) uses a small-diameter full-range driver behind a shallow back box, so it fits low-clearance ceilings, while the VXC4, VXC6, and VXC8 step up to a two-way, or full-range bass-reflex, cabinet for wider bandwidth and higher output in larger rooms. Every model runs on a switchable Lo-Z (8 ohm) or Hi-Z (70V/100V) transformer tap, so one speaker line covers both direct-drive and distributed-line systems.

Coverage narrows as driver size grows, from the VXC2F's 160-degree conical pattern down to the VXC8's 100 degrees, letting a designer trade spacing for output on a room-by-room basis. Each model ships in black or white to match the ceiling tile, with a removable grille for driver access.
