Yamaha VXL1 Slim Line Array Column Speaker
The Yamaha VXL1 is a slim line-array column built from a vertical stack of 1.5-inch full-range cone drivers with neodymium magnets, no more than 54mm (2.1 inches) wide, so it disappears against a wall in a lobby, house of worship, or boardroom while still delivering even, tightly controlled coverage across a wide seating area. Passive 8, 16, and 24-driver lengths let a designer match column height to room depth; the vertical coverage narrows as more drivers are added, holding speech intelligibility over greater throw without spilling energy onto the ceiling or side walls.
The VXL1B-16P/VXL1W-16P is the same slim enclosure built as a Dante and PoE-powered speaker, drawing both signal and power from a single network cable off a PoE-compliant switch, which drops the run to just structured cabling instead of separate audio and power runs. Every length ships in black or white, and the cabinet can be field-painted to match its surroundings.
