Whirlwind DMX 35T DMX Cable Tester

The DMX 35T checks 3-pin and 5-pin XLR DMX lighting cables for opens, shorts and reversed connections. It also indicates the presence of the DMX data signal when it is connected to a control line that is actually running, so you can tell a dead cable from a dead console.

The 3-pin XLR jacks test ordinary microphone cables for the same faults, which makes it useful beyond the lighting world.
