The Orange Box is the swirling, edgy phaser that started the Whirlwind pedal line in 1973. It is one of the longest-running designs in the catalog, and Whirlwind still lists it by the same name and the same colour.

Phasing of this era is a sweep with real character rather than a polite modulation, which is why it keeps turning up on pedalboards fifty years later.
