Tascam Series 102i 10-In/2-Out USB Audio and MIDI Interface
The Series 102i is a desktop USB interface with two XLR mic inputs, switchable to line, and an optical input that carries eight more channels of ADAT, giving ten inputs in total without a second box. Sampling runs to 192 kHz at 24-bit, and S/MUX is supported so the optical port stays useful at the higher rates.
Internal mixing and bundled effects processing run in the interface rather than the host computer, which keeps monitoring latency independent of the DAW's buffer setting. Monitor and line outputs are balanced, headphone output delivers 18 mW per side into 32 ohms, and the unit draws 7.2 W.
