Shure SCM268
The SCM268 is a four-channel transformer-balanced microphone mixer built for the jobs that do not need a full console: meeting rooms, houses of worship, classrooms, restaurants, and health clubs. Four transformer-balanced XLR inputs take microphones, a switchable mic/line transformer-balanced XLR output feeds the next device, and RCA phono inputs plus an auxiliary channel bring in program audio from CD, media players, or a paging source. Built-in 12V phantom power runs condenser microphones, and a low-cut filter below 80 Hz trims rumble on every mic channel.
Six sealed rotary controls handle the four mic channels, the aux input, and the master, with a six-segment LED meter watching the output. The half-rack chassis mounts singly or in pairs with the supplied hardware, or fastens on or below a shelf or counter for a fixed install. It runs on internal AC power and can act as a primary mixer or as an add-on to expand an existing system.
